Oman Medical College
Oman Medical College (OMC) is a private co-educational college established in 2001 dedicated to the training of Medical Doctors and Pharmacists. The curricula and school leadership are provided by the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Medicine, giving the students an opportunity to obtain a U.S. - style medical degree entirely within Oman.

(OMC-MSG)
Oman Medical College – Medical Students Group (OMC-MSG); a student group representing the students of Oman Medical College. It is in association with Sultan Qaboos University Medical Students Group (SQU-MSG) in representing Oman in different kinds of activities nationally and internationally through the International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA). The group consists of five international committees, two divisions, and one council. Each committee and division has been entitled to certain objectives that frame the basis of their work.
Sultan Qaboos University-Medical Student Group (SQU-MSG) is the voice of medical students in the Sultanate of Oman. Being part of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA), Medical Students in Oman have stepped many steps into professional work in order to serve the medical students in Oman and the Omani community through many projects. The SQU-MSG holds the positon of the National Medical Organisation in Oman.

5th Oman Medical Students' General Assembly
- Hosting Oman Medical Students General Assembly (OMSGA), on 11th April 2015, that will host around 150 medical students having a number of workshops and training sessions regarding the theme: “Be The Change!”
During this event, students will be introduced to different new aspects of medicine. The Medical Students Group at Oman Medical College is represented by 5 committees. In committee sessions students are urged to introduce new creative ideas that target the medical health provided internationally especially in
Oman. Training sessions will introduce participants to the ethical and political aspect of Medicine, making the medical profession closer to the human. In this event, similar to others done internationally, Medical students make decisions about Oman’s international representation in international meetings and set plans to follow regarding public health and awareness.
“Be the change you want to see in the world” is the quote of this event, to see a change in the health care provided internationally, we aim to improve the physician.
